Yes. Iron Institute is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. All members receive a key fob for independent access at any time - early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays. There are no restricted hours.

How much is gym membership at Iron Institute?

Monthly membership is £30 per month with no contract and no joining fee. Couples can join together for £50 per month, saving £10 compared to two individual memberships. Payment is by monthly Direct Debit.

Is Iron Institute good for beginners?

Absolutely. Iron Institute welcomes all fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced bodybuilders. The community is supportive and encouraging, and the owners are passionate about helping people start their fitness journey. You don't need to be fit to start - you just need to start.

Do I need to sign a contract?

No. All memberships are rolling monthly. You pay month-to-month by Direct Debit and can cancel at any time with no penalties, no notice period, and no cancellation fees.

Where is Iron Institute gym?

Iron Institute is located at Unit 55 Hollands Road, Haverhill, Suffolk, CB9 8PJ. It's on the Hollands Road industrial estate, easily accessible by car with free on-site parking.

Is there parking at Iron Institute?

Yes. Free parking is available directly outside the gym on the Hollands Road industrial estate. There is ample space for all members at any time of day.

Does Iron Institute have free weights?

Yes. Iron Institute has a comprehensive free weights area including a full dumbbell range from light to heavy, Olympic barbells and specialty bars, an extensive plate collection (both bumper plates and iron plates), and kettlebells in various weights.

Does Iron Institute have squat racks?

Yes. Iron Institute has multiple power racks and squat racks suitable for squats, bench press, overhead press, and other barbell movements. We also have flat, incline, and decline benches.

No. There is no joining fee, no sign-up cost, and no admin charges. You only pay your monthly membership of £30 (or £50 for couples). That's it.

Can I freeze my membership?

Contact Iron Institute to discuss pausing your membership if needed. We understand that life happens and we're flexible and accommodating with our members.

Are membership numbers limited?

Yes. Iron Institute limits membership numbers to ensure the gym never feels overcrowded and equipment is always available when you need it. This means you won't be waiting around for racks or benches.

Is Iron Institute suitable for women?

Yes. Iron Institute welcomes everyone regardless of gender. The gym has a supportive, respectful community where all members train alongside each other in a positive environment.

What should I bring to the gym?

Bring appropriate workout clothing, trainers, a water bottle, and a towel. Chalk is available at the gym for heavy lifts.
