Person walking into Iron Institute gym

Your First Visit to Iron Institute

Everyone starts somewhere. Here's everything you need to know before your first session at Iron Institute.

You're Welcome Here

We know walking into a gym for the first time can feel intimidating. We get it. But at Iron Institute, you'll find a community that's genuinely supportive - from the experienced bodybuilders to the people who started last week.

There's no judgement here. Nobody cares how much you lift or how fit you are. What matters is that you showed up.

What to Expect

1

Sign Up & Get Your Key Fob

Complete the membership form online and set up your Direct Debit. Then collect your 24/7 key fob from the gym. It takes just a few minutes.

2

Arrive & Scan In

Use your key fob to access the gym at any time that suits you. The gym is open 24/7, so you can train early morning, during lunch, or late at night - whatever works for your schedule.

3

Find Your Space

The gym has clearly laid out areas: free weights, machines, cable stations, cardio, and deadlift platforms. Take a moment to look around and get comfortable. Nobody expects you to know everything on day one.

4

Start Simple

You don't need a complicated routine. Start with basic movements - a few machine exercises, some dumbbells, and some cardio. Build confidence before adding complexity. Consistency beats intensity when you're starting out.

5

Ask If You Need Help

The members and owners at Iron Institute are friendly and approachable. If you're unsure how to use a piece of equipment or want advice, just ask. Everyone here was a beginner once.
